Dr. Claudia Hernandez
Dr. Claudia Hernandez is a Weslaco native. She attended the University of Texas Pan American where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science. After college, Dr. Hernandez studied dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston where she received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2006. Dr. Hernandez practiced general dentistry in South Texas until 2009. She then moved to Houston to complete a two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch where she was chief resident. In 2011 Dr. Hernandez completed a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hernandez is a diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Hernandez is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the Rio Grande Valley Dental Association.
Dr. Mayra Fuentes
Dr. Fuentes grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and has been practicing
general dentistry for more than three years. She graduated from
McAllen High School/International Baccalaureate Program in 2007 and
completed her undergraduate education in 2011 at UTPA. Upon completion
of her undergraduate education, she began dental school at the
University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she
graduated in 2015. Her professional affiliations include the Texas
Dental Association, American Dental Association and the RGV Dental
Association. Dr. Fuentes loves spending time with her husband and
daughter and enjoys to travel.
Dr. Henry T. Waddell Jr.
Dr. Henry T. Waddell Jr. moved to the Valley in 2007 after retiring from the United States Army. Dr. Waddell received his BA in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.
As a member of the United States Army Dental Corps, Dr. Waddell served for thirty years. While in the Army he was graduated from a two-year post-doctorate residency in Advanced General Dentistry.
Dr. Waddell is a Diplomate of the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Rio Grande Valley Dental Association, and the Association of Army Dentistry.
He is married to the the former Rachel Gomez, and they have three daughters and two sons.
